Battery disposal
Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Description
Phoenix Teleconverter AF 2x (Pentax K-AF)
Condition and Limitations
Condition: used.
Light to moderate signs of use, such as scratches or minor wear, are possible.
Typical signs of use, such as light scratches or dull spots, are possible.
Extending an Existing Lens
The Phoenix AF Teleconverter 2x, Pentax K-AF is designed as a rear converter for the specified Pentax K-AF mount. It fits between a compatible lens and camera. This allows you to capture a tighter crop from the same position. This distinguishes it from a front converter mounted in the filter thread.
What the 2x Factor Changes
When used in a suitable combination, the focal length and effective aperture are doubled. A 100 mm f/2.8 becomes theoretically 200 mm f/5.6. This corresponds to a loss of two f-stops of light. You gain a larger image scale from the same distance, but require more light, a longer exposure time, or a higher sensitivity.
This AF Version
AF is included in the offered model designation. A suitable manufacturer list regarding the specific focus transmission and permitted lenses was not obtained. The model name is therefore not extended to a universal AF guarantee for every KAF combination.
Photographing with the Combination
Refocus on the main subject with the converter attached. The tighter angle of view requires steady camera handling. For the exposure, the effective light strength of the entire setup counts. Measurement and aperture control depend on the specific coupling.
