Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Lens and Shooting Planning
The fixed built-in lens forms a coordinated system with the camera. With the zoom, you choose the framing, while your camera position determines the perspective. A longer focal length makes camera movements more visible in the image. The real focal length is to be distinguished from a 35mm equivalent specification. The comparison value describes the angle of view relative to a different shooting format; it is not an additional focal length of the built-in lens. This allows you to compare different camera concepts more effectively.
Storage and Further Processing
Recording is on SD, SDHC or SDXC; for video Class 10, for 4K/HS UHS-I U3 according to the manufacturer. Both the card name and the capacity must match the model's requirements. For video, the required continuous write speed also counts. Back up the recordings before reformatting; a suitable card reader enables transfer independently of legacy camera software.
Suitable Power Supply
The intended power source is the Olympus LI-92B. For charging, you need a solution that matches the exact battery design. Identical brand names or similar dimensions are not sufficient for identification. For longer shooting sessions, plan the power requirements and storage capacity together.
