The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Composing through the viewfinder

The viewfinder and taking paths are spatially separated; therefore, with close subjects, the difference between the viewfinder frame and the actual image must be taken into account. To focus, you deliberately judge the viewfinder image against a clearly visible edge of the subject. After changing the distance, you check the image frame again, especially with close subjects.
Square roll film
Suitable for roll film in the square 6×6 system. The square format allows you to arrange lines, surfaces, and distances without having to choose between portrait and landscape orientation. The film sensitivity is determined by the material. After exposure, development follows, and depending on the goal, a print, an enlargement, or a scan.
Manual exposure and preparation
Mechanical camera operation. When choosing the aperture and time, subject movement and steady camera handling go together. For reproducible shots, an external light meter is advisable if you do not use a reliably suitable camera meter. Understanding focal length in medium format
The focal length is to be considered together with the film format. A lens with a millimeter value familiar in 35mm photography produces a different angle of view on the larger negative. Therefore, you choose your position based on the viewfinder image for the desired frame. Working directly with distance, aperture, and time makes the photographic decisions easy to understand.
