Battery disposal
Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Description
Mamiya RB67 Professional SD medium format camera (RB67 bayonet)
Condition and limitations
Condition: good used condition.
The body shows only slight to normal signs of wear.
Medium format SLR photography
The Mamiya RB67 Professional SD is a medium format SLR camera. By rotating the back, you switch between portrait and landscape orientation without tilting the entire camera body. The central shutter is located in the corresponding lens.
Deliberately choose sharpness and exposure
SLR system with bellows focusing and a rotatable back. You set the focus using the viewfinder image. The aperture and shutter speed, together with the film, determine the exposure. A stable setup helps with longer exposures and carefully composed subjects; for precise results, exposure metering is part of the preparation.
Roll film and suitable film back
Roll film is used in the RB67 film back; 6×7 cm with the corresponding film back version. The film type and film back must match. The larger image area changes the angle of view compared to 35mm film; therefore, an 80mm focal length is not automatically a tight portrait lens. After exposure, processing suitable for the material follows, and if necessary, enlargement or digitization.
Power and system limitations
Mechanical exposure system; rangefinder/prism viewfinder powered separately. Lenses, viewfinders, and film backs must match the exact camera series and version. A common manufacturer's name is not sufficient proof of compatibility. Especially with similar model families, a distinction must be made between mechanical mountability and actually supported functions.
For planned image composition
Medium format invites you to complete the composition before pressing the shutter. You decide on the distance to the subject, line composition, and depth of field before the image is captured on film. For a consistent series, it is worth fixing the light and exposure; this makes it easier to compare the later developed shots.
